No.86 With stabilisation of dollar and need for increased -

revenue propose with the approval of the Executive Council

following adjustment in the letter rates certain of which are

at present uneconomical. Domestic from 3 cents to 4 an ounce.

Empire from 10 cents an ounce to 15 cents first

ounce and 10 cents additional ounce post cards 10 cento.

Empire via Siberia and Union from 20 cents first

ounce and 10 cents additional to 25 and 15 post cards 15 cents.

If you approve please request Post Office to

notify International Bureau 15 days beforehand enabling

revision effective 1st June.
